Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of monitorMyLawn ("the Service"), operated by monitorMyLawn ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

monitorMyLawn provides hardware lawn/soil sensors and a cloud dashboard that collects, stores, and visualizes sensor data and offers related insights. Insights (watering advice, health scores, etc.) are estimates for informational purposes only.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18+ to purchase.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid features are billed per active device on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel anytime from billing settings and retain access through the paid period. Hardware purchases and fees are as shown at checkout. Taxes may apply.

4. Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Hardware may be returned per the return policy shown at purchase.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no unauthorized access, reverse engineering of the cloud platform, interfering with ingestion, transmitting unlawful content, or reselling without authorization. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create security/abuse risk.

6. Devices & data

You are responsible for installing devices safely and lawfully on property you control. You grant us the right to process the data your devices send to provide and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability & warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that insights will be accurate. Hardware warranty, if any, is stated at purchase.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lawn/landscape outcomes resulting from reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

9. Termination

You may close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate for breach. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
